Role Summary:
Head of Logistics is a strategic position where a person will be leading a team of skilled professionals managing entire warehousing and multi modal transportation for the company.
This person is expected to bring in operational expertise in warehousing and transportation, run the entire logistics operations with a customer centric approach and keep the team motivated for the same. Person need to collaborate with C&F and transport partners and
keep finding technology driven improvement opportunities and pursue the same. We are looking for a seasoned supply chain professional who is able to do prioritize things, work with multiple stakeholders and deliver value to the organization

Key Responsibilities

• •  Ownership of entire warehousing setup for the organization


• •  Ownership of transportation for the org ( primary transportation & secondary transportation)


• •  Driving innovative solutions towards better service levels and cost optimization


• •  Responsible for parameters like OTIF , SLOB % , Cost / kg , Dispatch & delivery effectiveness


• •  Driving FIFO , 5S, inventory hygiene , regulatory compliances , stock count practices, skill development programs , sustainability initiatives in the warehouses


• •  Active involvement in projects like WMS implementation , TMS implementation , warehousing automation projects , network optimization


• •  Driving projects in logistics & warehousing which require coordination with large team and people at all level


• •  Finding right partners for warehousing and transportation


• •  Train, guide and motivate team members for better business outcomes

Desired Experience & Qualification

• • Qualifications –Full time MBA


• • Experience – 8-10 years of experience in supply chain with minimum 5 years of experience in logistics


• • Preferred Industry/Companies- Chemicals/ Pharmaceuticals/ Paint / Adhesives / FMCG
