Job Description
The Head of Event Sponsorship & Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and activating high-impact event sponsorships and strategic partnerships that drive brand visibility, business growth, and stakeholder engagement. This role will ensure maximum return on investment through well-aligned collaborations, seamless execution, and measurable outcomes for all the Business Verticals of the Group.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute a sponsorship and partnerships strategy aligned with brand, marketing, and business objectives for Sports & other Business Verticals.
Identify relevant events, properties, platforms, and partnerships (sports,
entertainment, industry forums, cultural events, digital properties).
Define sponsorship objectives, KPIs, and success metrics.
Partnership Development & Negotiation
Source, evaluate, and negotiate sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
Structure mutually beneficial partnerships, rights, and deliverables.
Manage contracts, legal approvals, and compliance.
Event Activation & Execution
Lead end-to-end planning and on-ground execution of sponsored events and
partnerships.
Design creative activations, brand integrations, and experiential marketing initiatives.
Ensure consistent brand presence and high-quality execution across touchpoints.
ROI Measurement & Reporting
Track sponsorship performance, brand impact, leads, engagement, and business outcomes.
Develop post-event evaluation reports and insights for leadership.
Continuously optimize sponsorship portfolio based on performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with brand, digital, PR, creative, sales, and regional teams to amplify sponsorship impact.
Integrate events with digital, social, PR, and content strategies.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, partners, agencies, and vendors.
Represent the organization at key events and industry forums.
Budget & Vendor Management
Own sponsorship and events budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
Manage agencies, production partners, and vendors.
Risk & Reputation Management
Assess reputational, legal, and operational risks associated with sponsorships and partnerships.
Ensure adherence to brand, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
Team Leadership (if applicable)
Build and manage a high-performing events and partnerships team.
Establish processes, playbooks, and best practices.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–12+ years of experience in event marketing, sponsorships, partnerships, or experiential marketing.
- Proven experience managing large-scale events and high-value sponsorship deals.
- Experience across sports, entertainment, corporate, Realty, Hospitality or consumer events preferred
- Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
- Excellent project management and execution capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with a strong ROI and impact orientation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events and partners simultaneously.
