Job Description
We are a specialist recruitment agency entering a high-growth phase, and we are looking for an experienced Freelance Business Developer to drive new client acquisition and manage lasting client relationships across the Technology, Healthcare, and Finance sectors.
This role is ideal for a self-driven sales professional who understands the recruitment industry and can independently take ownership of the full business development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target mid-market companies aligned with our niche
- Map and engage HR leaders, Founders, CXOs, Talent Heads and Hiring Managers
- Build and run multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, email sequencing, direct messaging, etc.)
- Conduct consultative discovery calls and position our recruitment solutions effectively
- Convert prospects into signed agreements (contingency or retained)
- Maintain client relationships, ensuring repeat business and strong account retention
- Track all activities and pipeline details through CRM
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Strong proposals/pitch writing skills
- Professional communication with a consultative selling approach
- Experience selling recruitment or B2B professional services (must-have)
- Ability to work independently, meet targets and manage a full sales funnel
